To celebrate the release of ‘The Not So Invisible Woman,’ I’ve recorded an excerpt from the book that you can listen to for free here.
Plus a special warm welcome to all Sunday Times readers. Hope you’ll take a look around, read some of my smutty and not-so-smutty stories, listen to my podcasts, perhaps learn a thing or two that you can try out at home and then click on the link on the right to buy my books on Amazon. That would be really swell. As for me, I’m waiting for my new and very bizarre Phoenix vibrator to go soft again. Don’t ask…

Still no hot water. This is rediculous. Can I ask my neighbour to shower at her place again? I'm almost too embarrassed. Guess I'll have to. 2 hrs ago

I haven’t visited for a while but my, what a smart place you have here Suzanne.
Is it a coincidence that your book title references one of those ‘whinging’ books that trouble Ms R so much? I’m close to your age and have never felt more visible in my life. Sometimes it’s rather mystifying as to what these women are on about really. But I think you have more tolerance for that than I do.
regards
Dear Mrs. Robinson,
Welcome. Yes, ‘Not-so-Invisible’ is a reference to one of those whinging books I love to hate. I’m not sure that after my interview with Lesley White I have any tolerance left in me for those kind of women.
I read it! The Times is rapidly becoming a forum for a certain kind of Oxbridge girl to either whinge or judge. They do not seek to initiate discourse which should have happened with your book. But that is what journalism is all about now, sadly. All these women are out of the same cookie cutter - miserable, repressed and full of self loathing methinks.
